Nolia Gallery features work from a different contemporary artist each month. Located only ah alf hour north of Boston and just minutes from both Nashua and Manchester on Route 101 in Amherst New Hampshire. We feature emerging and mid-career artists from around the country, and the globe. We are the only gallery in the United States were you can see work from the award winning South African artist Val Lafon, and Polish artist Jakob Niedziela.
Nolia Gallery has just kicked off it's first art contest, the 'Art Square Off!'. The Art Square off is open to all artists regardless of age, location, or experience. All entrants will recieve a 10X10 wooden block along with an entry form. All genres and mediums will be accpeted, but every entry must somehow utilize the wooden block. All entries will be on display at Nolia Gallery from March 22, 2008 to April 26, 2008 and visitors to the gallery cna vote on their favorite pieces. The three artists with the most votes will share a group show later in the year!! There is a $15 entry fee for this contest to cover the cost of materials. Blocks will be shipped free of charge to any artists in the continental US, there will be a nominal shipping charge applied to all others. Please call or email the gallery for more information.
